My day started at 6:00 AM. I shut off my phone alarm. Fed my cat some treats, had some breakfast, took my medications, and went back to sleep. I slept in until 9:00 AM. I got up, made my bed, and put some coffee on. I use Bones Coffee, Highland Grog (it's butterscotch caramel). Super yummy! I quickly took a photo of the sky, it was cloudy, just nothing too exciting. When my coffee was ready, I poured a cup with some sugar and a cinnamon roll creamer. I prefer my coffee to be sweet and creamy, and it was. Good stuff, coffee.
After I grabbed my cup, I walked over to my prayer corner. It's one of my favorite spots. I quickly checked a game I update on (I check it every day) and then put it all aside on my table. I reached for my devotionals, book, and two notebooks. First, I read the book "Why I Love The Apostle Paul," wrote in a notebook about my thoughts on it, picked up my devo "Everyday Inspiration From God's Creation." I then read a devo from "His Princess." Once I was done, I wrote down what I thought I was learning from my reading, what I felt like God was teaching me, and how life was going. I then said my prayers from my praying list.
I wasn't done with the computer, so I wrote a devotional for day 8 of my Christmas Blog Advent. You can read it here. At that point, it was lunch. I walked into the kitchen and put together a salad. I ate the deli salad (which was good) and then helped my Mom with my brother. I then got cleaned up, grabbed my camera, and tripod. Heading outside, I set up my camera to take Christmas photos of myself. I hadn't in a while, and I wanted a few holiday pictures. I was satisfied with some of the photos, so I went back inside with my camera and tripod. I helped my Mom for one hour with Christmas decorations.
Once I was done with prayer, I spent some time with Kenji (my cat). I gave him a waterless shampoo bath (he was purring, believe it or not), brushed him (which he loves), and a Churu cat treat. I also put on his Christmas bandana for pictures. Later, I'll open the next day's advent with him (he has his own). I then proceeded into my office where I placed a cushion on the floor. I sat down, took a deep breath, and turned on some peaceful music. After ten minutes of meditation, I went straight to work on my computer. I spent one hour creating images, posts, and daily Bible verses for both Facebook and my blog.
Right after helping my Mom, I drove into town with Dad. I had plans to see the Christmas lights at Locomotive Park. I didn't want to go alone, plus I wanted to see them with family. Since only my Dad was able to go with me, I drove into town with him. We first picked up a white elephant gift that I had ordered from Walmart. We picked it up, and I drove us to the park. The lights were beautiful. I only wished that my whole family could've seen them. I then hugged my Dad. I hope things work out for us in the days to come. For dinner, we got McDonald's. I then drove home with everyone's dinner. We ate, and I'm now writing this.
My night will most likely end with rest, maybe a book to read, and then sleep. It was a busy day for me! You may be curious to know this, I'll have one post tomorrow about the photos I took of myself for Christmas. Next week, I'll write about the lights I took at the Locomotive Park. I hope you enjoyed my day in my life - Christmas edition. I would like to do more of these kinds of posts when I can. So with that, may you have a good rest of the week, and I'll see you all tomorrow. Be sure to check out the lights for yourself! Goodnight, everyone!
